****update Black Lifes Matter official in Washington issued an apology within an hour as the group then quickly began to distance itself from the protesters. While CNN, NBC and others rushed to harshly criticize Bernie. This thing smells to high heaven. One Facebook post sums it up "I'm becoming more and more sympathetic to the idea that this is a set-up by moneyed interests. BLM-WA is distancing themselves from the protesters on twitter. It's like the young women on the stage are rogue BLM'ers and not part of the main group"

I sat down at the dinner table to tell my almost 18 year old son the events that had unfolded at Bernie's Seattle campaign speech. He didn't ask but I have insisted on giving bullet points from time to time of what is going on since becoming a volunteer in a grassroots group dedicated to helping him get elected about three weeks ago. I was pretty worked up today about the Black Lives Matter protesters who interrupted Bernie's speech to point where she got up to the podium and began to speak and organizers had bit of a scuffle with protesters. It ultimately stopped any speech by him despite the boo's of the disappointed crowd. I empathize with the Black Lives Matter movement but here's the thing...so does Bernie! Bernie has is on THEIR SIDE. He has dedicated 30 or more years fighting for Civil Rights and his record speaks for itself. So this is at the least very displaced anger or worst an operative movement by the other side upset at his unparalleled momentum in the polls. Moments after the chaos in Seattle this was being discussed. No protesters at GOP Debate. No protesters on Hillary's stops in Los Angeles. One woman. Needless to say, I plopped down to the table a little worked up. He interrupted me and smirked "Mom, I don't know if I'd call it a Revolution" I disagreed and emphatically stated my case to my realist that I birthed. "A Revolution by who he asked?" "The People!" I said easily and certain I was going to win this argument. He respectfully listened and added "It's a campaign Mom, that's what it is at this point" "No" I said adding in rambling probably barely coherent manner that grassroots action was taking place nationwide and volunteering and organizing going on that was extraordinary. "Okay then, a movement" he patronized "I'd say it's a movement" "Alright" I said starting to feel defeated in trying to explain what is unfolding and even playing devils advocate "When in your eyes would it safely be said that it's a Revolution?" I was curious now. He is yet very bright. And I respect the viewpoint of both our adult kids greatly. I'm an emotional basket filled with passion for All Things Bernie pouring myself over every article, tweet, video you know I'm in heart of the action 24/7 because well...it's happening! He stated without hesitation "When he's elected. When he's elected and laws begin changing that the People want...then it's a Revolution" I haven't even gotten that far in my mind. There's so much that needs to come before it. But, after a big sigh I decided Bernie Sanders would actually agree with my son. He has said this isn't about him it's about the people. Bernie also continues to state that in order to truly have a revolution this movement needs to follow him long after he takes office. But first things first, we have got huge work to do before that to get him elected. I'm tweeting, posting, speaking, writing, reading so much about it all in short form with limited characters that I decided to begin a blog. I think the Revolution is underway now. We can all argue the when and where it becomes that and agree to disagree. But with big media ignoring it completely we can't sit on sidelines for the Movement. We have to blog, discuss, share, write until he is elected and take it from there. First things first.
